Periods 5/6: ELD 1 This course provides a comprehensive approach to English language development, using communication-based, content- based, and literature-based lessons. Students in this course use language to develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Period 3/4: ELD 2 . This course provides understanding of information in a wide range of situations. Reading, writing, and collaborative learning activities reflect and foster students’ oral English development while the content extend their English language experiences. Students in this course use language to develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
