Periods 1 and 8: ADVANCED ELD/L&L This course advances students’ English language development in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with emphasis on the reading and writing processes. Students communicate ideas and information orally with increased confidence, demonstrating their understanding of various content, using different registers appropriately, and communicating comfortably in new and unfamiliar settings. This course will focus on developing analytical reading and writing skills.
